The Quiet Goalie

Here’s a post that I’ve been meaning to post for quite some time and just now finally getting around to writing.

Why won’t you talk to me?

Goals can be a good time to grab a break.

It didn’t take long for me to figure out one thing about the entire goalie position. […]

Goalie can’t find puck!

Once again, time to thank Jason Molenda for taking the following photos.

Time for a lesson in humility. I was sure it went in!

Randy foils his own breakaway attempt

Once again, time to thank Jason Molenda for taking the following photos.

Randy has had strings where I simply couldn’t stop his shots. This time, however, he provided me with a little assistance. Thanks, Randy!

Another quick hockey post

Time for another quick share of some hockey photos. Let’s see, I’ve been playing for about 2 years now. My kickers are a little less than one year old now. Then, back on my birthday last year, I got my brand new Smith Hockey glove and blocker to match the leg pads.

Quick Hockey Update

8/23/2006 & 9/24/2006

So…it’s been nearly forever since I’ve updated anything. Life for me right now seems to consist of my startup and hockey (not that I’m complaining!).

So, I figured this would be a good chance to share some photos. I’ve been playing in net for just over a year now and am […]

Denver Hockey Tourney

Well…it’s off to Denver for Steph’s women’s hockey tournament. Boarded the plane in rainy-nasty San Jose and sat down next to a woman who was so filled with self importance that she had a once sided conversation on her cell phone un until they they started taxiing. We heard about her trip to the […]

Random Weekend

Warning: This blog entry serves no purpose. That said, I woke up this morning and had some super duper ultra tasty coffee from the war-torn (can’t we just say “worn”) region of Zimbabwe. Due to political instabilities on the other side of the world, this particular version bitter brew is most likely headed towards extinction. […]

NHL 2004-2005 Lockout Rant

First off….I was a huge Sharks fan. Either listened (radio) watched (FoxSports) or attended every game for the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 season. I was a Sharks fan back in the inaugural years as well. Sure, there are bigger fans…but I still feel pretty qualified and compelled to rant on the lockout.

Second….I don’t think I […]

Rubbing elbows at the SAP

Went to SAP open (formerly the Seibol Open) last night to watch the semifinals with Agassi and another game with Roddick. The first match (see my tennis rant) between Agassi and somebody else in a blue shirt was a sleeper. Agassi was asleep, and gave up midway through the 2nd set. It was about this […]

Vegas Women’s Hockey Tourney

Back from a weekend in Vegas, and what a weekend it was. Got to be the “hockey wife” and watch my gf and The Burninators (Strongbad reference) make it all the way to the finals. The Vegas Women’s Hockey Invitational (or whatever it’s called) had 6 divisions (each with about 5 teams). Lot’s of hockey […]
